Virgin Mobile opens first new look concession store in Manchester.

Virgin Mobile has unveiled its first new look concession store, situated in the new flagship Virgin Megastore at the Manchester Arndale Centre, featuring the latest design as seen at its standalone stores in Lakeside, Gateshead and Southend.

The new concession is the first opportunity to see the new store design incorporated into a smaller space. This format is likely to prove to be the model for future concession sites. The concession is retailing ntl:Telewest cable & broadband products following their merger with Virgin Mobile in July this year.

Paul Williams, Retail Director at Virgin Mobile said: “Our new store design has won plaudits from across the Retail and Telecoms sectors and more importantly our customers appear to love it! The modular element to the design makes it incredibly versatile and allows us the flexibility to incorporate it into smaller spaces like concessions without compromising the overall impact, feel and customer experience.”
